Seems like it was just kicked up one notch and pretty much the same. I like how you're rewarded the same guns as normal only difference is its black and has higher light. If we're able to beat hard mode with 310 and below whats the point of hitting 320 light? Next expansion will probably make you start over again. Lol!

They also seem to have a higher ammo count than the tier 1 weapons. I noticed the LMG showed 52 rounds and the scout shows 20.
