Lucios wasn't sure what to think about the information in the dead ghost.
He had just got out of the vault, running a mission to investigate an anomaly in the vault. The anomaly turned out to be a ghost.
The shell of the ghost was interesting. Regular generalist design with bronze plating on it. The bronze seemed to be mixed with another metal.
Apparently, it was preydeths ghost. It was talking mostly gibberish, something about things that didn't exist. Lucios' ghost seemed baffled that she was looking at a ghost for a man that didn't exist. She had tried talking to it, but with no luck.
Lucios' ghost: "Preydeths ghost seems to have Vex tech welded onto it. I can't tell if it was voluntary or not." Said Lucios' ghost.
Lucios: "Well, voluntary or not, I think we need to call in a fireteam for this."
LG "Without telling the vangaurd? You sure?"
L "The vangaurd will want us to turn in Preydeths ghost. I think there's still more to find with him."
"..."
L "Ghost?"
LG "Yes, gaurdian?"
L "You ever want a name?"
LG "I've never thought about it.. why?"
L "I dunno, it just doesn't seem... human.
I mean, Ghosts' personality matches that of a human, why don't they have names?"
LG "We were all born from the traveller. The moment it died. I don't think it would of thought of names for every ghost."
"..."
LG "Petal."
L "What?"
LG "Petal. Does that sound like an okay name?"
L "It suits your personality."
Petal: "It certainly does."
Preydeth's ghost "No light, no dark, no nothing. Nothing existed"
L "Oh, right. Preydeths ghost."
P "Yeah. You want me to send out fireteam invites?"
L "Yes please. Inform them on what's going on too."
P "Allright. Lines are open."
Open.
