But my point still remains completely relevant variety has not gotten better weapons are just lackluster and now they are all kinetic I could care less personally but the difference between vog weapons then and raid weapons now is a complete 180 as in they aren't that great (especially the auto) and elements do very little but increase the rate in which you remove enemy overshields in pve. I will not count burns on a nightfall as it is an extremely small amount of the game and special and heavy weapons do it so much better. Just because a primary has an elemental burn doesn't make it better. the prison of elder elemental weapons are proof that garbage weapons are garbage regardless of the elemental burn.
