Done the raids many times, got 2 characters up to oryx on hard and will finish him off tomorrow. Still think they shouldn't have elemental damage, just makes every other primary useless. I NEVER used any non elemental primary for raids and high level pve after doing vault of glass once and getting vision. Really does say something doesn't it?

It doesn't, it means they have an extra kick, just like other weapons have special perks, might as well remove those then since that makes them superior after all, and the idea is for every primary to be the same, because you know variety for Bungie means nothing is different.

A gun may have better perks and stats. But would anyone use it over a elemental primary? Hell no, I think it's good they are doing this so people can use different guns instead of 2 or 3 guns year round

Special perks aren't better for EVERY situation, while elemental weapons are. Your argument is invalid.
