[b]Suddenly, the Gunship is picked up and flung into a building, toppling it[/b]
[b]The Team manages to dodge the falling debris, but when they look up, they see the creature that has caused so much death and chaos[/b]
[b]It picks them up with tentacles that emerge from its back, and flings them into a nearby building
It the let's out another screech before cloaking[/b]

He extends an arm out to Jace, enveloping him in a HardLight forcefield, and with surprising speed brings his Gauss Cannon up and returned fire, hitting the being directly in the chest, thanks to his compressed electron Smart Scope. The shot does no apparent damage to the creature, but the sheer impact completely obliterated the round and sends the being out of a nearby window. For a second, he was torn between following the monster and saving the man, but he quickly overcame the temptation to pursue the former and picked Jace up, using his Anti-Gravity boots to propel himself faster.

[b]The creature screeches again, before several plasma round land right infront of both of them, blowing them out the window to street level[/b] Aaarrghh.... Eric reeled from the blast. His shielding had held, but he still felt a slight sting from the impact. He quickly gathered himself, and magnified the force of gravity exerted upon him, shooting down to Jace, and then reverts to resisting gravity. He came to a quick halt just above the ground, where he continued to hover in case he needed to dodge an assault rapidly. "No need to thank me yet. Name's Eric. Any idea of what that thing is?"
