I think that it's a decent idea, but I have an even better one. If Raid Primaries become elemental, and you infuse them into Vendor guns, then those guns gain the element that the Raid weapon possessed. That way you could choose which element to specialize in (further customizing your character), [i]and[/i] it would keep elemental primaries in the game.
