Alice, heart pumping, lungs loving the fresh air and fast speed, pulls a Voidwall grenade from her belt. She throws it down at her feet, the flames rising high into the air, and due to her lockdown perk, last a good six seconds.
"Sorry!" She shouts back at Ginger.

When he sees the Void Wall grenade, he shrieks in a relatively unmanly matter (having muted his helmet, of course), and barely managed to leap over it. He slowly picked up pace again, realizing that Alice had thrown the grenade, [i]That bitch... She really does want to win the race, eh?[/i] He reaches behind his back and pulls out a Lightning Grenade, throwing it like a tomahawk at the wall besides her. He could play dirty too...

Alice's enhanced radar (keen scout perk) sees the grenade coming, so she jumps, spinning in mid air with her leg outstretched, and just as the grenade touches the wall, she kicks it back towards the Titan, sticking it onto the ground in the thin cave entrance.

He yelps in surprise as the blast hits him the legs, knocking him off his feet. Awkwardly, he breaks his momentum with a roll, and picks up the pace. With a burst of speed he catches up to her, and dives at her. Knowing how agile she is, he adjusts his direction in midair, catching her as she tried to dodge. He wrestles her to the floor, and pins her down. He removes his helmet to reveal his face, and leans in a little bit closer... And then grins, gets up, and sprints off, taking advantage of your surprise.

"Na-ah," she says, then gets up herself, taking off at a sprint. She catches up to him easily, comes up level with him, then waves... Before tripping him over, sending him face first into the mud.

Though he admittedly got a little mud in his face, he still protected himself from completing the fall by placing both hands on the ground, and using his forward momentum to vault over the rest of the puddle, and he was back in the race. He closed the distance again, but when he came next to Alice he stopped abruptly. "Alice stop. I'm getting a transmission... I think we might be in trouble."

He was relieved when he got a response. But they weren't out of the danger zone yet. He quickly focused back at the matter at hand. "Listen Ginger and whoever is with you, I don't have much time. What is the status on the Vault? Did the Vex ward off the Hive?"

He gets up from Alice, still grinning, and begins running while he speaks. "Uh... They fled back into the Vault, and the Hive followed them in. I'm right on their tails... Y'know, if they had tails, of course. There was an odd looking Knight at the head of their forces too, it seemed noteworthy enough for mention."

Alice runs straight around the corner, into a large open crevice below her, she stops herself on the very edge. She turns around to see the Titan had disappeared. She ran back and saw him out of breath, talking to... Someone, via the coms. "Hello?" She asks the coms.

"Hello, guessing you are the second Guardian." He put his attention back to Ginger. "This Knight, was he tall as a Guardian? Also followed by three other Knights with Solar, Arc, and Void blades, and one that looks like the Dark Blade?

"I... I don't really remember. He was shorter than the others, that I remember, and what you say does kind of ring a bell... But I can't confirm until I get a better visual."

"What?" Alice asks. "You mean that Grixis guy or something?"

He turns around and looks at her, "You know his name? You've been hitting on other guys, I see."

"Uhh, duh, learn up on the history of Hive and the other races. Knowing is half the battle, not knowing a Hive leader is practically dooming us to fail." Alice laughs on the inside at the Titan.

"Eh, they all look the same to me. Big stature, big voice, bigger sword. Anyways, I'm more learned in Fallen command that Hive, so... Take that." [i]Ouch...[/i]

This was bad, there was only one reason for Grixis to be there. If he succeeds his objective; they were all doomed. Suddenly there was static. The Vault was interfering with the signal. "Hurry Guardians, if he succeeds, we are all doomed!"

"Right." She says slowly. Then her head snaps up. "Alright, let's go." Then she turns and takes off at a great sprint.

"Wait... What? One sec, lemme catch my breath." Ginger mutes his headset for a second, though there is a muffled wheeze heard through his helmet, and then he runs after you, "Alright, let's go. That was just me... Swallowing something. Yeah, that."

Garuud shows up and the vault and upon seeing the devastation runs in and screams at the top of his lungs. " Marco!!!!!!!!!" Waiting for one of the people to yell polo. "Vex murder bots and Hive crashing their party... its must be my birthday!!! Oh happy day!" Garuud yells as he pulls his Fabian strategy out and runs further into the cave system.

"Why is it that every guy I've met is showing up here?" Alice sighs. "I should take a vacation." She says, before following the sounds of Garuud yelling.

"It's probably your animal magnitizism bhahaha" Garuud says as he turns the corner " long time no see 47 ronin, how you been? You vacation in the vault of glass too!? The hot springs and vex and hive really work out the kinks bhahaha. "

"I'm an animal am I?" Alice says with amusement as she follows Garuud.

"Sure! Arnt we all!? Especially you in combat " Garuud thinks back to their fight in the hanger and starts humming blood hound gangs discovery channel. As they turned the corner they came to floating platforms swarming with thrall.

Alice uncovers her Bolt-Caster. "You or m-"

"It's mai birthday! " Garuud yells as he throws a thermite grenade onto the platform. " wait for it... Wait for iiiiiiitttt..." The grenade activated and mows through them all blowing them off the platform in pieces. "Strikeah!!!.... You were saying something? Probably about how awesome I am."
