Zhalo Supercell

Is it any good? I got it from an exotic engram that dropped during the Darkblade strike. It's on my hunter :)

I know this is UBER late; but, this gun rox! If you run it with the arc sub-classes (esp lock) and are good at aiming at the head with burst shots, you will wreck and have fun all at the same time. I see it most effective in pve strikes where the amount of enemies grows to insane portions: i sometimes find the combo enemy zaps from the arc-chaining death dealing from gun is very hard to distinguish from the arc-chaining death dealing of my super, grenade, or melee. It's also nice that it's one of the few primary-elemental weapons in year-2 (esp among the epic primaries). The magazine is a nice round number: 36 IIRC. A nice chain on say 3-4 enemies from your initial target that you kill will also proc's an ability that charges up your super a VERY fair amount :) As an AR, the stability is impressive, the range is amazing, and because i am about to equip it to my titan for a little fun, on the tier 3, you have the choice of
- Hammer Forged: Stock and ehh - Rifled Barrel: sacrifice about 12% (of 100, or 18% of current) reload for 10% (of 100, or 20% of current) more range (my preferred for most scenarios) - Braced Frame: sacrifice about 12% (of 100, or 50% of current) range for almost doubling your stability to about 96% (of total, or 60% of current) stability! (i'd say do this in short maps pvp or when you prefer to get up-close-and-personal in pve.) Note that this will also drop your max ammo you can hold for this gun a bit even though the mag seems unchanged at 36 on screen - it may drop it to the stock 28, though..
Also, while I prefer to keep the default Tier 1 (CQB Ballistics), you can do 1 of the following if you'd like about 30% (of current) more impact:
1. Choose Aggressive Ballistics from Tier 1 and Braced Frame from tier 3. - This gives you an overall 10-11% (of 100) Impact (increased), about an overall 28% (of 100) Range (decreased), and about an overall 73-74% (of 100) Stability (increased) while potentially dropping your mag size. 2. Choose Aggressive Ballistics from Tier 1 and Rifled Barrel from Tier 3 - This gives you an overall 10-11% (of 100) Impact (increased), about an overall 50% (of 100) Range (increased), and about an overall 58% (of 100) Reload (decreased). This does leave your Stability at around 46% (of total (stock)).
