He is walking down a hallway.
-
Cygnus waves at him. "Hey! Sam, right?"
-
"Yeah, why?"
-
"Do you still happen to have Murph's journal?"
-
"Yeah, why?"
-
"While we were fighting that giant...thing...earlier, I found something rather strange."
-
He looks quite interested. "Really?!? What?"
-
"Yeah, aren't the Genesis supposed to be...living?"
-
"I believe so..."
-
Edited by Crestfalling: 10/26/2015 11:16:51 AM"Well, I tried looking for a life force with my scanners, and found none. Does this match anything in the journal?"
-
"Not from what I could decipher. I'm fairly sure Genesis are living beings."
-
"Well then...whatever we saw wasn't a Genesis. And if it was not alive to begin with, who's to say we actually killed it?"
-
"Well, I wasn't there. You must've at least hurt it to make it stop attacking you."
-
"Perhaps...but doing so may only result in it getting stronger next time we cross paths."
-
"Hopefully not."

As you wander down one of the halls, an unmistakable object is in the wall. A meteor slams through the wall, fragmenting and revealing a strange dark mass.
-
Cygnus surrounds herself with a thin force field with a gasp. When the dust settles, she takes a closer look at the dark mass.
-
As you look at it, you can almost make out things that would be tendrils, arms and, oddly enough, handguns.
-
She pokes it with her sword. "Handguns?"
-
As you poke it, it flies out and hits the ground, forming into a creature.
just look at my guy.
"Ah shit! Those things hurt ya know."
-
Cygnus jumps back, startled. "Gaah! I mean...it's alive. Of course it's alive."
-
"Well, that's debatable." He says, hands over his pistols invade he needed to use them. "I mean, alive is a relative term. I could technically be ethereal but that's not the point I of this."
-
Cygnus looks past him. "You do realize you broke a hole in the wall, right?"
-
"The whole point of not needing to breathe is the reason I don't notice that. I'll fix it temporarily, but I can't fit it permanently." He says, and creates a shadow bubble around the hole.
-
"Well, I suppose that works, too."
