Well since we got the taken king and Destiny 2 is next year i thought it might be time to talk about certain plot points that could be expanded at Destiny 2's release or beyond. Oh yeah and spoiler alert for Destiny, dark below, house of wolves, taken king. 1. Cabal Armada coming to the system: Okay now this is the big one. In one of the missions in the taken king you are dispatched to go and stop the cabal from transmitting and to find out what it contained. You find out that it was sent to the head of the cabal empire. I believe this will be the plot when Destiny 2 drops mostly not because of the story foreshadowing but also the kotaku article released a short while ago. Cutting content aside, this could be an excellent campaign, with all the might of the cabal coming at us fighting off the impossible. Im also very excited for the suspected raid they could be dong with this. 2. House Kings attack: Now the house of kings are a minor antagonist that got featured in vanilla destiny, dark below, and house of wolves. They are very secretive and nobody really knows about them. All we really know is that they operate in thee skywatch and only barons have been shown. If you read through the grimore(the 1 out of 100,00 of you) you'd find out that the kings do have a kell and their mission is to take back the great machine(the traveller). This would be a great story because it would be like a huge surprise attack. The city would most likely be attacked from all sides in a great battle that would be mostly on earth that could pierce the outermost walls of the city and have a second battle of twilight gap in a way. The kings would attack now because the city is preoccupied with the war against the remaining taken and the cabal onboard and around the dreadnaught. 3. The false prophet and the crow: Now this would mostly be like the original story of destiny before it was cut. You get a transmission from your old exo stranger friend to come meet you in the cosmodrome. When you get their you meet prince uldren, now calling himself the crow. He then brings you to his conspiracy and tries to persuade you to go against the traveller because it caused the darkness to come, and denounce the speaker because he's lying to you, you refuse to believe it at first, but then a few missions later you go to mercury and meet osiris and he shows you through vex technology that the traveler and the darkness are one and the speaker is false. You then go to the tower accompanied by the crow, the stranger, and the rest and confront the speaker. This will most likely not be a thing bungie will cover, but hey you never know.
