I understand this can serve as an effective way to do the Oryx encounter, but seriously... how hard is it to kill the light eater knights as they spawn? It only takes two shots and the Knights give you a clear sight for their big ass heads as they're spawning in.

Not in the back area, knights have to walk a little before they can be sniped. Also not killing the ogres before Oryx stagger prevents adds from spawning. I've known too many guardians brought down by an acolyte eye or a centurion axion bolt.

This makes it super dangerous for the runner though :P
