Having expected her to jump down, Eric had crouched down in wait just outside of her limited visual from above. The area below the grate was dark, and seemed to stretch on for as long as the eye could see. He pushes the shotgun down and kicks it from her grasp, and then tackles her to the floor in an attempt to stop her from retrieving it.

She kicks him off, reaching for her shotgun as she managed to aim and fires The round from it knocks him back, making him hit the roof, and fall to the ground, as she pumps it and chambers another round

Edited by Spyglass: 10/27/2015 3:21:40 AMThough he's unarmored and unarmed (the guards deactivated his Helios prosthetic), the neural link to his arm manages to activate thin cortosis plates to spring out of the sides of his arms, creating fan-like shields that protect him from the rounds. One pellet hits though, and in seconds his blood begins dripping from a wound in his shoulder. That was a shame. He had wanted to keep her alive too...
lel Is a gravity shotgun, like the one from CoD AW
She was reeling back, standing up as she takes a gunners stance, aiming at him "I'd like to keep this simple, like to stay alive as well"
Whoops. He was just blown back then
Realizing that he could only defend against her rather than attack, Eric finds himself facing two options: run and hide, or find something to use as a weapon.

A pipe was dented and ready to break on the wall nearby, as she slowly inches forward

Edited by Spyglass: 10/27/2015 3:38:59 AMHe quickly grabs it and tears it from the wall, hefting it inhospitably hands like he would a baseball bat. He already had a plan...
Ill pick this up in the morning. Goodnight.
-
She reacts quickly, already raising the gun...
dammit
-
Fine one more post...
He rushed towards her as fast as he could, hitting the gun aside with the pipe, and then pressing it against her throat as he shoves her against the wall. As his face gets close to her's, there's an odd moment of silence, and for perhaps the first time she realizes that despite the man's strange motives, he was quite handsome in a roguish way. Or... Perhaps it was the lack of blood going to her brain.

She gasps for air, trying to break free, but fails each time It takes a bit, but she slowly, her eyes fluttering and her face turning red, and she eventually goes limp

As he turns around to leave, a familiar voice sounds in his head, "You know, I fell in love with a woman once." This isn't love. Choosing not to kill someone isn't love, nor am I attracted to her. "I wasn't referring to you. Anyways, her name was Zara, and she was everything that I had every wanted in my life. But had she interfered with what I believed in, what I stood for with every fiber of my body, my duty, I would have slain her. What stops your hand, if you are not attracted to her?" I refrain from it because I am not you, I never want to be like you, and I don't want anything to do with you that I can't avoid. You're a monster, Hallwinter, regardless of what you may have done in the past. "My actions were merely a means to an end. Now, don't you have a ship to be hijacking?" Yes, the entire cruiser, to be exact. Let's go Ginger.

She slumps to the ground, unconscious, as he walks off

He leaves her there and walks away, as Ginger begins corrupting the ship's AI.
