Level, or light level? For getting to level 40, grab all of the bounties and complete as many as you can each day. Focus on the easy ones, naturally. For light level, do dailies for legendary marks wherever you can. Buy one or two 280 pieces of gear to boost your light level early on and then run strikes until you hit 290 and can raid.
