Hello fellow guardians, welcome to the Raid Training Group. My goal here is to train new guardians in the art of raiding. This includes learning enemy spawn and behavior, efficient communication, relic control, team work, and optimal class responsibilities. [b]Process[/b]: At the start of each section I will explain how to complete the objective. From here we will proceed to do so until the end. Before we complete the objective we will wipe and start again. This time with someone else holding the relic, covering a different position, or performing a different role. Following the completion of the Training Raid we will go back and run it at normal pace. No slowing down for lessons, and no purposeful wipes. From here I will gauge how well you learned and what we can still work on. [b]End Goal[/b]: I want you guardians to be proficient at raids. When you go into a lobby for a raid you will understand the basic principles of the encounter, and prove to be a valuable asset to your team. If someone on your team dies I want you to able to fill that players roles without having to ask how to perform their duties. If your team needs a swordbearer or a relic holder, you can step up to the plate.You will become the jack of all trades, and then hone in on your specialty. [b]Cheesing[/b]: I will teach you how to cheese the raids. Why? Not because I think it's more fun that way, but because most groups you run into will expect you too. However, how to cheese an area will be the last thing I will teach. You will be proficient at the legitimate strategy before you learn the easy way. [b][u]Requirements[/u][/b]: [b]Must have a mic.[/b] Communication is key in a raid. It easy even more important when you are learning how to do it. [b]Level 30+[/b] It may sound weird that I require such a high level, but vendors sell lv32 gear. [b]Time[/b]: This will take about [b]3-5 hours[/b]. I plan on going into detail with each of you. The final raid will probably take around 40 minutes. [b]Desire to learn[/b]: I can go over everything all day long, but if you truly don't care, you are going to have a miserable time, or you'll just leave. And that would suck for both of us and the person replacing you.
