Boosts aren't cosmetic, my friend. But don't get me wrong – I couldn't care less if people want to buy them. The problem is with BungieVision and their "just the tip" strategy.
First it was only cosmetics, and a bunch of forumgoers warned that it was a slippery slope, that bungie would gradually offer more valuable things for Pay. Defenders jumped all over those posts, but now, only a couple of weeks later, it's a reality. You can bet that it is only that first slip down that slope...and that metaphor is chosen for a reason: once the slide starts, it usually only picks up momentum. I'm actually shocked it only took them weeks to escalate micro transactions.

But it's boosts that are already in the game. The only difference is that they cosmetically changed them for a week and that they will disappear at the end of the week.

Yes, but you're missing the real point – the real difference is that people can buy them instead of playing for them.

Yes but that doesn't mean much. U can buy masks instead of playing for them. But it's only for a week and they are useless after a week. I understand where ur coming from but it's not that significant tbh.

That's why "just the tip" is such a successful ploy...lol. Don't fall for it!
