Leveling up light level
Hey fellow Guardians I'm finding it extremely difficult for me to reach 300. My light level is 296 and I've been grinding for weeks ok 2 weeks exactly. My light level hasn't gained need some helped

The best thing to do is try to reach the 290-295 range through heroic strike gear. At that point as long as you've acquired a sniper rifle with 290 attack value most of the normal mode kings fall raid won't be too difficult after you learn the strategies.

4 RepliesI've been reading that Court of Oryx might drop some 300+ gear... but I haven't confirmed. The only place I've gotten 300+ gear, was from the raid. However, I've been really lucky lately and have gotten a 300 light Patch-A shotgun (legendary) and a 300 light, rare machine gun just from running heroic strikes. Everything else is bordering between 295-298 light. So, I can definitely say that it is possible to reach 300 light without raiding... but it is solely dependent upon RNGesus. If you're very, really, extremely lucky to get 300 light drops - for all slots (both weapons AND gear) - then you'll be at 300 exactly. I think. I'm willing to run Court or Oryx, though; I have a quest to beat the different tier bosses. So I'm down to help. Feel free to add me on PSN and hit me up.
