I certainly agree that Halo's longevity will come from MP.
And I kinda get what you're saying. There are times when I'll be like I'm done for awhile, but so far it's always pulled me back. And also, full disclosure, I was REALLY disappointed with Destiny initially. But it won me over. So maybe Halo will surprise me yet. I just haven't seen that yet.
And I'm also looking forward to Fallout 4. Prior to WoW and Destiny, Fallout 3 was the first game that I started to be aware that I was really spending a lot of time in that game. Of course it was probably one of the first ones that was kind of in your face about your total time played.

There is loot in halo it's called req packs they seem sick

Yeah, I still trying to get my head around them. From my understanding it seems like they're mostly cosmetic though?

Only played Warzone briefly, but the Req packs unlock new primary weapons you can req in game. They also provide 1 time only reqs for Super Weapons and Vechiles, unless you unlock the certidfication.
