And that's part of the burn - Destiny does have great mechanics, but the developers are fools. Each update/DLC is 1 step forward, 2 steps back. They say that they get rid of grinding, RNG and bullet sponges and then do even more. Last year was not a great year for really good games. However, this fall has a number of big titles and I believe that the number of people playing Destiny will crater. Bungie doesn't have enough carrots and time releases to combat that.
