Goku's power is light if you remember the fight with Yakon at the beginning of the Buu saga.
The gorgons would never be able to channel fast enough.
For everything else there's instant transmission, lock on to Atheon teleport right to him.
I vote Goku.

I still consider Goku the winner. But Yakon could eat the light output (photons) and Ki energy emanating from Goku. So not really the same thing. Don't confuse a Guardian's "Light" with the light we to see.
