the weapon was an example of what heavys should have been, note you really cant compare the utility of a weapon against bullet sponge style bosses. if dragons breath had tracking and a better velocity it could have been a great match for gally. same goes for thunder lord if the darn thing had a bigger mag and less kick. point being bungie fudged up when designing bosses and enemies that unlike other games with RPG like elements dont scale well when compared to the character. i'd say the gally was built correctly for a HEAVY and bungie could not think of a way to make the game better to match it, all the new heavys besides the swords suck now i rarely ever use them outside of emergency situations now.....
