This shows true bravery when a deeply religious American conservative goes against the merits of social conformity and against his own people. Please debate.

Your definition of true bravery is laughable. true bravery is in facing risk and danger like running into a burning building, fighting against overwhelming odds, facing certain death that type of shit but having and expressing an opinion even an unpopular one in a free country isn't brave it's normal and it's not exactly rebelling against "social conformity" to be for gun control no matter who you are people are pretty evenly divided on the issue but I guess it would be a surprise if you group everyone into a little box.
