One anime i want to start soon is Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
I heared often it is an great anime and from the scenes i saw yet and i agree with that

I might suggest starting with just full metal alchemist, at least for the first 20 episodes or so, the original series does a better beginning, brotherhood skims over the start because it came after and was kind of made under the assumption that if you are watching brotherhood then you have likely watched the original.
