10 it has no elemental damage and is a primary - so why the frick not. It would be considered typical like the rest of our new primaries but I find it way cooler
9 it is good in PVE and does moderately well in pvp
8 it is a year one weapon, which was purchased by everyone, with the thought/idea they could always use it
7 some people bought the game because of the Mida (just like other exotics) and/or Hunter master race (which go hand in hand with one another)
6 there are scouts that hit WAY harder
5 if pistols and shot package and all other issues were way more important, I cannot fathom a reason as to why we don't have MIDA at this current point in time (I did not believe that it would really be this long...)
4 many players will not like the idea of the future being another opportunity for Bungie to rip their favorite weapon from them
3 it can really be useful for new players and veterans - it's a true multi tool
2 it boosts agility slightly, and gives players freedom to fire at their own rate which can be pleasing for any player - and what I find even more honorable and enjoyable: it has a radar
1 pulses are too Op still, scouts need this renewal. It's dark days in the world of certain scout users/lovers... 2 days before trials and many cant even use the weapon they desire (smh bungie...)
ascend Mida
They have new exotic scouts like tom, jade rabbit, and gemmi(not sure the spelling), they want to try and get the same number of year 2 primaries the same, for example there should not be 10 exotic scouts and 2 exotic pulse rifles, that would be limiting the choice and would later cause for "nerfs" because people would complain about how much they die to a gun type.

After 20,000+ kills with MIDA I can say it isn't in year 2 because it was too good, and actually balanced.

Edited by Bait: 10/30/2015 2:17:06 AMYour points are shit, all points (except 2) can be applied to other guns Edit: this coming from a mida fan who wants year 2 version
-
Edited by GMRcris: 10/30/2015 2:23:58 AMI still my favorite weapon to use in Crucible, unfortunately I am forced to lean away from it because I can't use it in trials/iron banner. They probably are aware how lethal it is in the hands of good PvP players and don't want it to be the meta, cause if there was a year 2 MIDA, it'd be the PvP meta.

If they brought Truth forward, they damn sure shoulda broughr Mida. Truth is great in pvp, but nobody uses it. Mida same.
-
Honestly dude the mida is op. I hope bungie realizes this. It had third eye gives you an agility boost (which increases speed and jump height) and fires faster than is advertised because of the hair trigger perk and gives you more speed. While also having the high caliber rounds perk as a hidden perk (was an update in year 1 to encourage its use) and it has maxed reload. The gun is op and needs a nerf to its reload speed and the removal of high caliber rounds as its hidden perk
-
I'd give you 10 reasons for NLB to be ascended if you ask
-
-
Agreed with everything except pulses being OP. Hung jury and that raid scout can compete easily with them and a good few autos wreck us at close to medium range.
-
Yes plz
-
Bump. I still use the MIDA in pvp would be fun to use everywhere again, I miss that gun
-
No offense, but all of the reasons you stated were kinda dumb...
-
-
MIDA bumped but I wanted my post to be more of a Multi-Tool
-
Bump <3 mida, or buff TLW stability
-
Bump if you want your favorite weapon back too
-
Bump for mida also bones of EAO 330 lights
-
Bump for mida
-
The mida was perfect... just perfect. Was my favorite non elemental primary.
-
The fact that you said it is moderate in pvp made me not read the rest of your post
-
Mida multi to was never nerfed. Weapons that were nerfed didnt carry into year two, so why get it removed from the blueprints?
