If you've already beaten HM oryx just play the raid up until oryx. I've gotten way better gear than I have actually beating oryx. I have 52 moldering shards and I've gotten crap from oryx

Haven't been able to beat him yet with a LFG team because everyone wants to do the strategy where you don't kill ogres which is annoying as hell.

I've ran that strat before and it makes things worse. If you have a Titan have pop it's blessing bubble where the death singers where and use a malice to help take out the ogres and Knights. But your team needs to help as well. That's the best strat I use and remember when the one with the relic who grabs the light from the vessel...after staggering oryx to blow the bombs you have at least 30 seconds to clear adds so add dismal is essential. That's the best that works for me and my previous raid runs.
