Nothing beats it. It's essentially a ranged arc blade. You get an over shield, and can use it at further ranges, making it much more difficult to go up against. With blade dancer, it was just a shotgun and melee. Can't do that to people in storm trance. They get you from further range, because warlocks of course get it easy becuase they require no skill. Hell, even sunbreaker takes more skill than stormtrance.

It's obvious you don't play with a warlock. We don't get overshield, we just regenerate our health once, then we go back to normal recovery. This is only if we ahve both greande and Melee fully charged, so we nust hold onto our abilities if we want to get the most out of our supers. Then there is the fact that if you don't have the selected perk the super actually last half as long. Basically running the stormcaller we do get a few limitations in our build. Eitherway if you have not noticed all Arc builds are centered towards close quarter encounters. If anything the class is fine as it is, no need for a nerf nor a buff.
