Killing a stormtrancer is very doable. No extra shield, no health recovery, limited range (unless it chains) and limited movement and jump speed. I'd never thought I'd ever say this, but you just need to learn to deal with it. (i couldn't bring myself to wrote git gud... but I sure was thinking it)

  • It gets a 50% damage reduction and it's range is teetering on mid range engagements. It's also the only active super I've ever seen go head to head with a HoS and win. It really is a powerful super. Not unbeatable, not OP, but it does have perks to it that make it seem like it is.

  • I've watched a hammer of sol and a stormtrance get activated at almost the exact same time, and I watch the hammer lose. Ionic blink is a bastard, by the way. And by active supers, I mean the roaming supers. Golden gun is the second most efficient, but I was talking about an up close and personal battle, where the winner isn't at range.

  • If the HoS knows about the Stormcaller and they see each other, in no circumstance beside the Titan already being injured will the Stormcaller win. HoS just needs to back up and throw hammers. Now maybe if you had Iconic Blink on, but that takes away two other really good abilities.

  • I'll have to double check for myself, because both when I get killed in it and when I kill people in it it sure doesn't feel like any damage reduction. The only thing you do get is a full health and shield recovery I'd you activate whilst having grenade and melee fully charged. It has none of hanmertime's health regeneration on kill, which makes your work on their health useless if they kill you.
