No, he's comparing firefly to shank burn.
HOW weapons were 2 situational. Hung Jury being a favorite shows that people like firefly more than most other perks.
Plus an arc hand cannon was by far the best option for skolas with hordes of arc captains jumping in your face.
I know for a fact I would be using more weapons if I had my old raid gear. There is no reason to switch primary's now.

There is more reason now than before. No way for people to cling to a weapon other than "they like it." A weapon like Hung Jury, which is a decent weapon, and other weapons like Hawksaw, a little on the OP side, are being used more often because the majority of players have to use the weapon that others define as best. And let's be honest, Firefly isn't that great of a perk. It has its uses, but not something that defines a gun. Hung Jury generally has decent stats even if the perks are meh, same with Hawksaw.
