[b][u]Recovery[/u][/b]
[i][u]MedBay, Cyprus Prime Carrier[/u][/i]
[b]Jace, still unconscious after the surgery, was recovering in a medical bed[/b]

[b]Jace slowly opened his eyes and looked around Doctors paced about the MedBay, working with and on patients [/b] [b]He begins to move when he winces in pains[/b] Hhrrgh..... My arm... [b]He looks at his right arm, still recovering from the bone replacement surgery[/b] Damn.... [b]He looks at his left, which is now a prosthetic replacement from the forearm down[/b] The hell? [b]He moves it, close and opening his grip, testing out his senses[/b] Feels like my normal hand.... Just more....fluid? Responsive? [b]He gets out of the bed he is in and begins to walk out[/b] "Wait! You can't just leave!" [b]A nurse walks up to him[/b] I'm fine. Anymore time and I'd have gotten bedsores "You'll have to ch-" Check out? I'm sure you'll let them know. [b]He grabs a shirt and puts it on, before walking out[/b] Couldn't save it, Eh? [b]He holds his hand in front of him as he walk The prosthetic is a dull gray, with blue circuitry glowing in seams of it like nerves[/b] Better than a stump I guess. [b]He enters his room, and sits down[/b] Time to catch up on what I missed. [b]he reads the mission report that had been assigned[/b]

I watch him sleep, thinking about something

[b]Eva walks in to check on him.[/b] "I tried to help but the doctors wouldn't let me"

[b]His vitals seemed normal The forearm of his left arm was now a prosthetic He didn't seem conscious yet[/b]

[b]she pulls over a chair and sits next to the bed[/b] "I hope you wake up soon. I'm gonna need your help dealing with Draxis when he finds us"

[b]She sees Dean already sitting there and talking [/b] [b]Suddenly, Jace starts to scream, and his monitors start to go off Medical staff shove Dean out the way, and start yelling[/b] "His heart rate is rising!" "The sedatives are wearing off!"

[b]her hands start glowing a faint blue and she places them on Jace's temples and his vitals start to return to normal[/b]

[b]A security guard moves her away[/b] "Stop whatever you're doing!" [b]They scramble trying to stabilize him[/b]
-
"I'm trying to help him" [b]she pushes the guards back with the force and continues what she was doing eventually removing her hands from him and his vitals are now normal[/b]

[b]Two more guards appear and start to love her out the MedBay[/b] "We're sorry, but you'll have to leave until the doctors say you can return." [b]The doctors manage to stabilize Jace, and once more he is breathing easily[/b]

[b]she zaps the guards with force lightning and walks out if the medbay and returns to the hanger[/b]

"We'll be reporting this to General Hill!"

"Go ahead"

Dean walked in, he wasn't exactly grieving, he just felt it was best to check on Jace.

"Heh, I really kicked your ass, didn't I?" He chuckles nervously. Dean pulled up a chair and sat next to the bed.

[b]A security guard warily watched Dean The medical staff also watched him Jace stirred slightly, but still remained under[/b]

Dean looked around at the staff. "I know, these guys are watching me 'cause I've beat the shit out of you, twice now. Well, what I'm here for is to say I hope that we can get past that. I just got back from a really pretty messed up situation and...." His voice trailed off. "...well, you just kinda lit the fuse. Gave me that extra push to just explode. I'm sorry. Goddamn, I've said that too many times today." He chuckles.

[b]Suddenly, Jace starts to scream, and his monitors start to go off Medical staff shove Dean out the way, and start yelling[/b] "His heart rate is rising!" "The sedatives are wearing off!"

Dean backs off, watching.

"Heart Rate spiking!" "What the hell is going on?!?" [b]One of the doctors glance at Dean[/b] "What did you do?"

"I didn't do anything!"

[b]They look at him before returning to Jace They manage to stabilize him, and he is once more resting peacefully[/b] [b]A doctor approaches Dean[/b] "His heart rate spiked for no reason. What did you say?"

"I basically said I'm sorry for beating the hell out of him. Why?"

"Because, that could've been a trigger. I'll have to ask you to leave until he is fully conscious."
