I'm always confused when randoms refer to the platforms by 1,2,3 & 4 what's so hard about top left, top right, ect... What is 1,2,3 & 4 even supposed to mean

1 is usually the 1st platform -- depending where the relic is, 4 is the platform below the relic. That's how my clan does it. But we say front left / right, back left / right. Only when we jump up we say "1 is up, 2 is up, 3 is up" so we know what order we are. We know it's counterclockwise, it just helps people in the heat of battle (especially new comers), at least for us anyway. We're always communicating what we're doing and what's happening. I would never tell someone to take number 4 and expect them to know what that means. But I have heard people say L1 /L2, R1 / R2, front left, back left, front right, back right. These are things you need to work out as a team, that's why I hardly play with randoms, everyone has their own way of playing. We run raid the raid the same way every week. And we're getting good. We can beat it in a little over an hour, faster than it takes most people to kill the sisters or Oryx. Lol.

Yeah because that's going to depend on where you start from. I like front right / back right, etc. myself.
