I started playing again a little after year 2 dropped, and overall bungie dressed up the PvE holes that plauged it from day 1. However it seems that PvP got no such love. Sure we got maps, but it stops there. Bungie, in the past, has had the best matchmaking around, and it was all based on their Truskill algorithms. It's apparent however that either their matcaking malfunctioning or they've abandoned it. I hope it's not the latter. I recently have been hopping into pvp for a little every night or so, and am plauged with 2 problems; Uneven teams and getting thrown into un winnable games. Let me point this out to any tester who didnt realize it at the time. I do not want to spawn into a game where the enemy team has double the score and heavy already. The uneven teams frustrate bks and they eventually quit. I am not saying that we get the pleasure of seeing our number posted next to our emblem, just that you actually fix/use it again.
