Some info about supers based on numbers, then an opinion but only after the actual info.

INFO FOR EACH SUPER- Here's the damage reduction numbers for each super (dying or surviving is based on them having full health and no overshield)(case 1 and 2 are explained below): Gunslinger: 50% damage reduction (only lasts for the length of the animation of initiating the super), can survive case 2 during this time, always dies no matter what for case 1 Bladedancer: 50% damage reduction, can survive case 2, always dies no matter what for case 1 Nightstalker: 50% damage reduction (only for the animation of shooting the bow, damage reduction is gone the moment the arrow leaves your bow), can survive case 2, always dies no matter what for case 1 Sunsinger: 50% damage reduction (song of flame and fireborn), can survive case 2, always dies no matter what for case 1 Sunsinger (only radiant skin): 55% damage reduction, can survive case 2, can also survive case 1 with just a tiny sliver of health left Stormcaller: 50% damage reduction, can survive case 2, always dies no matter what for case 1 Voidwalker: 45% damage reduction (only during the animation and is gone the moment the Nova bomb leaves your hand), can survive case 2 with skull or ram, always dies no matter what for case 1 even with skull or ram Fist of havoc: 50% damage reduction, can survive case 2, always dies no matter what for case 1 Fist of havoc (with unstoppable): 55% damage reduction, can survive case 2, can survive case 1 Sunbreaker: 55% damage reduction, can survive case 2, can survive case 1 Case 1- If you actually get a direct hit, you'll see two numbers for damage; one number will be the damage from the impact of the ticket actually hitting the person and the second number will be the damage from the rocket's explosion. -Only sunbreakers, radiant skin sunsingers, and unstoppable fist of havoc striker titans can survive this direct impact rocket, case 1, with just a tiny sliver of health left. They can be killed with one shot from basically anything at that point. Case 2- In the second case with rockets, missing direct impact by even just 1 inch will cause proximity detonation with grenades and horseshoes or you hit the ground right next to them, or the rocket tracks but ends up hitting the wall/ground right next to them. When any of this happens, as long as you aimed your rocket properly and they are close to the rocket explosion they will take full damage from the explosion and will just be missing the bonus damage from the direct impact of the rocket itself. -Every super in the game can survive this case, case 2. MY OPINIONS ARE BELOW (above is info based on numbers): Sunbreakers should have the same damage reduction as golden gun, 50% damage reduction just during the animation of initiating the super. I say this because they basically have anywhere between 5-7 hammers which are basically golden gun shots with explosive, area of effect damage. It's basically 5-7 golden gun shots with the armor of unstoppable fist of havoc and radiant skin. I think every single perk and everything for sunbreakers should not be changed at all. I think the only change should be that their damage reduction mimics that of gunslingers. This means that there should be 50% or even 55% damage reduction during the animation of initiating the super, but should go away after the animation. With only that one change, I think it would be properly balanced in terms of being able to deal absolutely massive amounts of damage while having the tradeoff that they can be relatively vulnerable. For just one second, imagine a gunslinger with anywhere between 5-7 shots (depending on an INNATE subclass ability they can choose, rather than having to use an exotic helmet to increase the number of shots), that has the same armor/damage reduction that sunbreakers have right now. That's basically what we have with sunbreakers right now. Can you imagine the absolute outrage that would ensue in the forums and all around the game if gunslingers were actually like that? People would burn the world to the ground. It's actually funny to think about. I hope everyone has a fantastic day. Edit: I'd be happy to have an intelligent discussion with anyone who wants to do so.
