Buy a mixamp pro from astro then buy a good pair of headphones, and a mod mic 4.0. Total my mixamp pro 130, then I got a pair of audiotechnica adt-700x for about 70 on amazon, then a mod mic from amazon for 30. 700 x are viewed by most pc gamers to have one of the best Soundstage and directional audio, the mod mic is a better quality than astro or turtle beach mics, And they are about half the weight of a40s or turtle beach and extremely comfortable. Seriously. Give it a go and read some reviews. A lot of people love these items. And with the mixamp pro, you even have an aux port to play music from your phone, or in my case from my pc.

  • I have this setup but its annoying to have wires everywhere. Wireless for gaming is the way to go imo. I can't even tell the difference between my current plyr1 and the sennheisers.

  • Ah I have my ps4 go to a pc monitor because it's what I'm used to gaming on. I have the modmic and headphones cable clamped together so it's basically one cable. Most of it is tucked behind my keyboard but loose enough to give me slack to move around. Also, rigged it so both my ps4 and Pc share the headset at the same time or separately :)

  • Same for me, I bought an extra 5 pack of the chord clips to mine is basically 1 nice chord. I also have done wireless before, but probably once a month my wife leaves town for work and I might have a day off and play 12 hours. When my batteries in my headset started dying, I said to hell with that
