I know what you mean! I live on a farm, so it's to be expected to have animals die of become sick, but I often grow attachments to to youngest animals on the farm, and when they're really hurt, go away, or even die, I tend to get depressed.... I only discovered today that a little white kitten, Rarity, had died a few days back without me knowing. I'm still pretty bummed and depressed.....
