Advice on Moldering Shards.
Apologies if this has been discussed before, I have tried to search but not found the answers I was looking for.
My question is, if I do the normal raid and kill Oryx but DO NOT use my 20 moldering shards on him. Can I then run hard mode and use them on Oryx hard mode and get extra drops?
I did hard mode last night and it didn't seem to take my moldering shards, but that could be because I had already used 20 in an earlier normal mode run. However Oryx hard still dropped 2 weapons.
Hope that makes sense, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

2 RepliesEdited by Are You Okay: 10/27/2015 4:56:12 PMYou are getting a LOT of misinformation here lol Here is your definitive answer from someone who has actually done it: [b]Shards work on Hard Mode.[/b] They only give you an extra [b]normal mode drop.[/b] There's no benefit for passing on them on normal and using them for hard because you get the same thing. I killed Oryx hard on my Warlock with 20 shards. I lost the shards and got a normal gun, normal helm, and HM chest.
