What headset do you use?

I'm on Xbox One and currently looking into a wireless gaming headset for around $200. I am starting to play crucible more and more and feel that a decent headset would help me notice enemies sooner. I'm wondering what the more seasoned players use (besides Astro's, $200 is my limit). Edit: Figured I would summarize what I am seeing the most. AstroA40 (some sets can be bought for under $200) Turtle Beach XO Seven TB XO Four Stock headset HyperX Cloud II TB XO One Based on all of the feedback I am seeing, I think I will go with the XO Sevens to save some money and get the best of all aspects.

  • A headset won't help in Destiny much. You'll be able to hear gun fire and revives but you won't hear footsteps unless the buddy breaks his legs from falling. You can probably hear footsteps but your headset would have to be really loud and going deaf isn't worth it. I'm not saying don't get a headset. I'm just warning you it won't be to beneficial in Destiny but it does make any game feel more immersive and making you really appreciate the game more. It goes from being just some game to art in a sense, the music and everything gets a lot better. You feel more in the game but don't forget to go outside.
