Your claim that he could go back in time and prevent Goku's growth and development is false not only because he lacks the ability but because he wouldn't know to do that. I'm not unaware of the powers of the Silver Surfer.

If you knew of Silver Surfer's powers then you would understand that he has only a fraction of the comic power... Could he actually arrange Goku's matter to a chimp? Debatable... I started by saying that time travel is an element that exists in the DBZ universe, and then I went on to say instant transmission, one of Goku's abilities, is a manifestation of this. That's not backtracking. Backtracking would be this: > Goku can time travel. > Goku cannot time travel. > Goku can only use instant transmission.

Simple variables... You said that Goku was capable of instant transmission. When I said that instant transmission was like a burst of speed you said that it wasn't... As it was a form of time travel. Do you now see where you backtracked?

I didn't backtrack, OR say it was a form of time travel. It's a manifestation of that concept. There's a critical difference. If I used the term 'form' I was incorrect. You describe it as a burst of speed but that's not how it works. Goku described it as that in an attempt to explain its use to everyone else, but the Kais and Whis & Beerus refer to it as temporal ability.
