Not all changes were made in response to complaints. (which given the PURE VOLUME of, I'm not surprised some ppl don't know that) Some of the changes were made to get people to use a larger variety of guns and to get away from guns that trivialized content (like gjallahorn) That said, all the decisions made fall into Bungie's lap, and not all of them have paid off.
