Year 1: LDR, Longbow Synthesis: higher aim assist, same RoF/impact, nobody complains (also shotguns used a lot more)
Year 2: 1000 Yard Stare: lower aim assist, very similar stats, everybody complains???

There is alot of proof to fit that mentality that overused = overpowered.

First of all its because 1000 yard has shortgaze. Longbow is a rare and vendor version was bad hard to find good rolls on it and the ldr vendor had ambush= less aim assist and shotguns were in a better place

People seem to forget that prudence II has 80ish AA, as well as defiance of Yasmin, hereafter, and shadow of veils all have WAY higher AA than 1k stare lol.

It was 49/89. All depends on the scopes and perks and such. 49 is prolly the prudence base AA before the sights and stuff.

Except for Shadow of Veils, those snipers don't have enough impact to revive snipe.

You're right. :O Still, main reason people think 1000-Yard Stare is OP just because it's everywhere, and that's because it's the highest aim assist sniper with enough impact to perform revive snipes, and it isn't class exclusive, AND, you [i]get it from a quest[/i]. No wonder people see so many.

Yeah, I definitely agree with what your saying! Just wanted to let you know about the aim assist thing. They take away shot package and suddenly snipers are a crutch. Lol it's just ridiculous
