Companies make much more money, and a loyal fanbase, by doing business the normal way. Having the original game broke up into $100+ dollars worth of DLC is going past "making money" and more into "scamming your customers".

And having to buy new content to play your OLD content is another shitty business tactic that I haven't even seen done before except by Activision.
