I'm 25, work a full time job, and have my own apartment in Southern California (it's not cheap here), without any help from mommy or daddy. I know the value of a dollar. That being said, I play Destiny because I enjoy it. And if I can afford to spend a few bucks here and there for a stupid dance or emote that I like, then I'm going to. Not because I want to fit in or feel like I have to do it, but because it's going to further add to my Destiny experience. Now, I fully understand that the more money we give them the more money they know they can take. And if it ever becomes a pay to win game then I'm done, and I'm pretty sure they know a lot of their player base is too. I kind of lost track of where I was going with this, but there's my two cents lol.

Pay to win probably won't happen but destroying the rewards system so they can sell better aesthetic items like cool shaders will definitely happen. Your dollars only reinforce this trend. Thanks.

I agree with you to an extent. I don't know if you've played Halo 5 or know much about the multiplayer, but they have requisition packs you can buy with req points that you earn through playing mp that unlock aesthetic gear and weapon skins, etc. or you can buy them with real money. What I like about it is that you can still earn them by playing if you don't want to spend money. So if BungieVision were to ever start selling shaders, which I'm sure they will, I hope they take that same route: let the people with money and no patience buy them, while everyone else can try to get one from a drop.
