She blinks forward and drops an axion bolt hoping they'll chase him the other way

He just runs like hell, jumping over anything in his way. "-blam!- you, -blam!- you, -blam!- you..." He says quickly as he sprints away from the bolt.

She's laughing hard as she hits the embankment and slides down misses the walkway and into the acidic ocean. E:"S**T! Loop revive ! Revive!Revive!

He attempts the same jump. "Ha, karma! Eat it ya-" In a very ironic moment, he lands flat on his face, making the jump, but killing him from the impact to his head. "Damnit. C'mon ghost, hurry up."

Hunter's ghost looks at Loop, saying "I just go with it." And as soon as Hunter's timer is up, starts to revive him. It's going slower due to the magnitude of the injury.

Echo,only just seeing what happened laughs even more, E:"see you at the top, I'll give you a prize if you can stop me or beat me" She skips past his ghost and runs along the walkway.

He revives, and responds with "Deal," before throwing a wall grenade in front of her. He then picks up his pace, closing the distance between them.

She sees the flames spring up and slides to a stop. Regaining her footing she gets ready to blink up to the pole. E:" he's good " she grins to herself.

She puts a hand out to catch the pole, swings round and lands just after him. E" looks like I owe you" She leans back on the pole. E:" we've a good few hours before first light,we should probably rest up"

"Yeah, we-" He stumbles, lack of energy getting to him, "probably should."

[spoiler]sorry if I am repeating bits but they keep disappearing at this end[/spoiler] E:" you ok?" She is genuinely concerned E:" come on let's get inside" She walks Hunter inside and heads toward the computer screens pulling out something that looks like a leather recliner, on closer inspection there is a power link in the right arm. E: "take a seat" she says softly Echo pours herself a synthesised scotch, E:" you drink?.....get this armour off loop....then we can talk about your 'prize'. " she grins

"On occasion," Hunter responds, manually removing his armor, revealing a plain torn tee and jeans. "So, what were you thinking?" He asks, setting his stuff to the side.

Echo pours another glass hands it to Hunter, E:" hmm what was I thinking" she looks him dead in the eyes "didn't have a lot to do with resting,.... So how about this just now instead" She walks over to where her vast selection of blades are kept, opens a drawer and pulls out a boot knife. Doesn't look like much to start with until a closer look reveals it to be carved ahmakara's bone. E:" as far as I am aware there isn't another like it. It's yours." Echo returns to Hunter and hands it over hilt first.

After sipping his drink and setting it down, Hunter accepts it with both hands, then holds it carefully, running his finger along the blade, his finger being scratched by the bone. He has a quick flashback, and remembers an ahamkara hunt. "You sure? This knife can go through nearly everything."

E:"wouldn't have offered it if I didn't mean it. It's saved more than a few lives.....by the way what did you see" Echo's voice softens as she asks the question, then finishes her drink.

"Then thank you." He clips the knife to his armor, then picks up his drink. "I've killed ahamkara before. Brought back some memories."

E:"Really.....you really have been around a while huh?" Echo pours herself another and sits on the coffee table, E:"man! What I wouldn't give to find one, I have like a thousand questions I would ask it" She pauses and stares into the bottom of her glass watching the amber liquid swirl round. E:" only one wish though" she whispers voice breaking slightly

Hunter sits next to her, putting his hand on her knee. "And what would that be?"

Echo takes a breath, then another drink before she begins to explain, E:"See this," nods to the sunsinger bond she wears "this belonged to my bond sister,she was an incredible sunsinger , " As she speaks her fingers absentmindedly trace runes across Hunters hand. E:" we were stuck on the other side of a time gate....she...'Trinity' figured out how to get back but it meant using a ghost and it would only work once..." Echo's voice trails off her head drops down she stares at their hands intertwined.

He stares at their hands, before squeezing hers in affection, and feeling like he's blushing, thanking that the pitch-black color of his face can't change. "So you want to bring her back."

She returns the gesture,and half smiles feeling his discomfort, E:" yeah I guess, she didn't tell me, she sent me through the gate saying she would see me on the other side." Echo finishes her drink. E:" c'mon let's get you linked up" she stands pulling him up behind her manoeuvring him towards the recliner, once he's back up to it she puts her hand on his chest pausing for just a moment to look him in the eyes and smile before pushing him down.

He just leans back. "Is this gonna hurt, doctor?" He ask in a silly tone.

E:". Only if you want it too" she says with a wicked smile. Goes around to the right hand side, there is enough room for her to sit next him, she turns his arm over finds a connection below the elbow and wires him up. E:" now I have you right where I want you"
