The art of fusion rifling

I'm sure many know the power of fusion rifles. I'm an average player with a 1.05 KD (though unlike last week i usually go 1.33+ for my weekly KD) but even I can use a fusion rifle to it's fullest. There are plenty of great videos about it, but mainly, here is a list of things to do/keep in mind: 1.You do not need to aim before you charge if you can see the enemy 2. If you can't see the enemy yet, feel free to aim without charging, but be wary in case they run around with a shotgun 3. Don't stand too close to corners 4. A primary with quickdraw never hurt, and can finish off kills in record time if your fusion rifle doesn't 5. The burst of a fusion rifle is much more spread when shooting in the air, and airshooting should just be avoided at all costs 6. the pre-charging you do as you wait for someone to come by so you can grab the kill faster is audible, so I suggest not doing it and instead backing up a bit, but either is fine. 7. Aim somewhere between the crotch and the wasitline of the enemy to deal as much damage as you can 8.Remember to keep mind of your sights and your location in relation to the enemy, all 7 shots do not come out at once and can be interrupted if you are killed. 9. whether it's high charge rate low impact or low charged rate high impact you will have to shoot a full charge, so go for something in between. 10. It's probably not smart to charge twice on someone if they have 3/4 health or less, and have a shotgun. A primary will usually finish up just fine, but if you are partially charged by the time you think about this, just finish the charge and hope they don't kill you first Feel free to add some other good guidelines to getting kills with FRs or comment about experiences with/against FRs and other things related to the topic.

 • Before you use a fusion, know its recoil pattern. If you don't then good luck on consistent 1hk. Never prioritize impact over charge or vice versa. Always look for the middle. High sensitivity on your controller will help you. Try and find the optimal where you will be firing as you do a 180. 7-8 is about right for the Thesan FR4. Don't ever release a charge in combat, even if it's wasted. Most people will dip in and out of cover to avoid the shotgun blast, they won't expect it to actually help you. Remember to play the weapon's strength. It will out range even a Felwinter's easily. It has maybe a little more range than an HC but don't push it. But above all else, play to your strong suit. Even against the OP's opinion, you can try for midair attacks. Not going to tell you how many times my life has been saved by dropping down a ledge and hitting that drive by status
