I checked OP's Crucible stats and I found exactly what I was expecting. His best weapon is not a primary like 98% of all players. It is a shotgun. Thousands of bitch stick kills or as I call it "easy kill mode". The shotguns fine but having to actually aim is what upsets OP the most. I bet 99% of all sniper complaining threads are from shotgun abusers who don't want actual skill involved in PvP. And I don't snipe BTW.

Lmao complains about shotguns but abuses a fusion rifle, the fusion rifle meta was even more cancerous. People don't realise it but fusion rifles still put in work in pvp.

Haha yea snipers take so much skill it took me about 10 seconds to adjust from running Shotty 24/7 to "gnarly sniping" *cough* aim assist *cough* Edit: I think it might have been 2 days ago, on Momento.

Just like your stats show, you run around exclusively with a shotgun, errr excuse me, a chaperone, the least skilled gun in the game and cry about the guns that take skill because you cant simply run at them and push R2 to defeat them. What Wizard of Oz character does that make you? Dorthy or one of the midgets?

With that though, what would be the best counter to a sniper? I believe most of my kills are from Shotguns by about 2,000. Running out into the open and getting sniped is an obvious fault of the player. But to me, it seems like I can use a Pulse Rifle or Scout Rifle for screen bounce. But the screen bounce doesn't work and I get sniped. So then what do you do? You can't challenge it at range unless you counter snipe. My concern with them is that they can insta-kill from any range, long or far. You can claim that it is harder up close and personal. I personally feel that they should have more zoom, and I would be okay.

Much like Anfield suggests below, I just put pressure on the snipers by flanking or just getting close one section of the map at a time. Usually the guys who snipe all the time aren't very cool under pressure when it's happening in their face. Much like my TOO strategy against campers. Don't sit back and play footsy with professional footsy players. Attack and put pressure on them. They don't do well under pressure that's why they camp.

You have to use the map. Flanking is the best counter to a sniper.

ya it doesnt surprise me anymore when i see people complaining about snipers and they all seem to be best at using a shotgun.. such a coincidence. Their stats are abysmal too, so thats always a fair sign too.
