Is it possible to still get it if you die at the jumping puzzle?

OMG, you can die after the third ghost at the jumping puzzle. The portal does not close!! Also you can solo it, just pack plenty of synths for mid range, and a super weapon for long range (a powerful sniper rifle). You are welcome!

I soloed it last time, and it's not too bad. I didn't have any synths so it took 1 hour to do, mainly because of all the taken hobgoblins...

Edit: It can be soloed but I'd recommend bringing in at least 1 other guardian in with you.

I take it you mean after the third ghost? I don't know for sure, but if the portal closed, the answer is no.
