Most people in this game who set up and hard scope aren't focused on radar as much as they should. They don't even relocate after kills. I can't tell you how many times I've flanked snipers that hard-scope from one spot.
Inspect their sniper. If they don't have 3rd eye, you can get them. If they are completely decimating your team, you must get them to a) move b) change strategy or c) worry about being flanked. If you don't take over their post or get them moving, you don't have a chance. If you're not in their line of sight and they know you're coming, the only thing that should matter is your own gun skill.
EDIT: and grenades. if you know where they are throw grenades.

I'm sorry I should have said I was thinking this with Trials in mind because I got rekt this weekend because of the consistency of sniper alleys and the constant monitoring of enemy's locations that this would not work. This works in 6v6 due to the mass number of players and the incapability to keep track of everything. In Trials I'm -blam!-ed.

Edited by Bedlam74: 11/5/2015 7:18:51 PMIn trials on Bannerfall, you can go far left (or right depending on your spawn) towards where heavy spawns and you will either run into someone else flanking, or have a clear shot back towards the hallway and middle area or you could go all the way to the enemy spawn. This was an effective for distracting and disrupting sniper behavior on that map. However, we still got wrecked at times because of running into 307-312 opponents. But when evenly matched it wasn't that bad. You are correct though. Counter-sniping as I described is much better for 6v6. Trials counter-sniping is different. BTW- I'm not a Trials expert.
