I managed to go to the lighthouse twice last week and I find myself asking if it is worth it? Wouldn't you love to earn a weapon which was awesome? That others get killed by and wish they had it? Lets look at them:
Auto rifle - Bullet hose. I think a Bungi employee would be quick to say that its got one of the fastest time to kill, but that would only be spoken by someone who hasn't used them, especially against the kick from being hit buy a pulse.
Scout - I was really excited about this one. Though after using if for the last 4 days it is disappointing in my option. The high rate of fire with low base stability makes it tough for me to land consistent head shots. I got 3 during my trials experience, and even the one with Zen moment remains a challenge.
Sniper - Why do we keep getting these low impact snipers in a mode where res sniping is so valuable? Aren't we all tired of just using the 1000 yard stare? Another option would be great here.
Shotgun - Isn't the Conspiracy theory with range finder the only one in the game? Potential with base stats but perks let it down in my option.
Pulse - So your going to put your hawsaw, Nirwins or red death away for this????
Heavy - Ok, maybe something here, but seems like the raid one is tough to beat.
Just my thoughts coming from someone who would like to see the lighthouse weapons highly regarded as in my option it is much tougher a challenge to get to the lighthouse then completing hard mode raids. Why are some of the best weapons in the crucible ones which we get from completing an easy PVE quest? Shouldn't the pinnacle of PVP reward these? What do you guys think?
