I noticed this too. It was the same with the black spindle post. Something was just off about the tone of the writing, and how it shifted from being appreciative that people are so involved in the game to being very blunt that they have every right to screw with the game economy as they please. I doubt it's on our end, but more on the activision side causing this. Either way, whatever. It's not something I'm concerned with.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, Bungie even after a year still feels lost. If it weren't for a good shooting mechanics and friends i met , i would forget about this mess of a game...

1. I agree with the "no balls toxic loser" bit. 2. The forum community isn't the same as the Destiny community. Only a small slice of the Destiny community even comes to the forum. Although, it seems that all losers who play Destiny come to the forum so the whiney loser count is deceptively high among the forum community. Bungie is entitled to mock that fact.

Between this and Activision spouting off their easily manipulated "registered user" numbers (aka 'investor math'), they've pretty much already decided they're going to pander to the base players who believe Bungie can never, ever, do any wrong. Nothing will change going forward. Bungie and Activision are living in their own echo chamber - as evidenced by the fact that they spend more time conversing with the "community" on Bungie-friendly outlets like Reddit and Twitter..." But i saw the neverending mistakes, and i said that if things didnt change with ttk that would be the end. I havent played much in some time. Ive come in to look but thats it. And that was before cod bo3 came out. With the new games out now and coming out, im done.

I don't get a bad vibe from Deej but Luke Smith definitely has a condescending way of talking to and about the players. He tends to lump us all into one huge group, rather than see the fact that there's just a lot of bad apples on these forums. He's also made negative comments about the people who datamine information, which he has the right to do, but then he takes it out on the entire playerbase, which is wrong. Luke was the community manager in the Halo days and he was much more friendly to the players and community. Now it seems like he actually dislikes the community. You'd think the massive pay checks from Activision would make him happy enough to act professional and be respectful to the people who bought the game and made him rich.
