Man, I just don't get why everyone tries to get well balanced game design changed. The Hunter has the ability to hold an entire team in place for 10 second while he wastes them. The Warlock can keep his super long enough to take out a whole team in a well chosen use. The Titan is limited to line of sight or near enough that he's easy to avoid, but if you're in the open, it's a death. Smile and move on, knowing you have a few minutes for payback.
1. If you have your super, or are close to getting it, you can assume 11 other players do as well.
2. Avoid death while using super to best advantage.
3. Win. Or lose. But do both with class and style.
4. No whining.
My favorite memory from Crucible is my hunter holding all 5 in place as my team dropped the bomb on them no less than 3 times in one match.
Also. News Flash. No one is just good at crucible. It takes time and practice. Unless you cheated. Then you got banned! Ha ha!

Let me tell you something about how bungie favors classes Hunters have an incendiary grenade Titans do too Hunters won't deal half Heath damage even if the enemy is in the middle of the blast Titans are an almost immediate one hit followed by burning

Don't waste your time on these people. A lot of them main Titans and a lot of them have absolutely 0 gun skill. So they camp and wait or pick up their teammates weak enemies and grab the orbs to get their Hammer filled, and then they experience something they never did before... Their balls suddenly drop and they activate their super running freely everywhere throwing those OP hammers the moment they spot you, and then once it's done, the coward goes back to camping in the back of the map and begins the ritual once more. Meanwhile they come on the forums and say that only hunters complain about the Hammer but that's because then Hunter supers take far more skill to use than the Hammer of scrubs

Someone sounds salty :)

Dude, just stop, seriously. Titans are MEAN'T for CQC so of course they can beat the living crap out of you up close, that's your fault for getting near them -_- hunters are best at killing at range, titans are good at close range, if you have plenty of things to run around, the hammer will be wasted trying to chase after you. That simple :)
-
I'm not saying Titans are OP cause they aren't they're just OP compared to hunter supers I was using the grenade as an analogy to show that bungie favors classes

Edited by FrostspineZ24: 11/11/2015 9:59:26 PMWell keep this in mind, for how long did we titans not have a ranged super? How long have we been nova bombed while activating our FoH? We titans have been limited to pure CQC, sure, the Peregrine Greaves allow you to one-hit ANYTHING in the crucible, but by the time you get that close there's a shotgun in your face The defender is mainly used to protect a heavy ammo box and or objectives and that's about it. The shadowshot allows you to stop a titan before they can activate their supers, the melee allows you to cloak teammates, not to mention you can EVADE a shoulder charge if done right, so yes the SB seems OP'D, but there are plenty of ways to fight back

I'm a sniper Nuff said
-
Fair enough, that's what I think hunters are meant for :)
-
Long range Domination
-
Hunter thether is a piece of shit, arcblade is only good if you have hungering blade on, golden gun is shit because you have ten seconds to fire three shots
-
Cup half full? Sounds empty to me.
-
Yeah it is because I'm a hunter and the only good thing I get is agility and agility is useless in pvp

Edited by Donniebee2: 11/6/2015 5:33:37 AMI just had several days winning every match with my Nightstalker Hunter. I love him. You just have to play from cover at all times. Remember he/she is a HUNTER. stealth and intelligence rule. Know your maps. See the patterns. It's a chess game and the Hunter is the Grand Master. You might not get 40 kills but no one else will either. Oh. And if you headshot a Titan with a sniper he dies mid throw.

Edited by Ada-1's Thighighs: 11/6/2015 5:35:24 AMI've been playing as a Hunter since the Beta, and I gotta say that if you think our supers are crap - you simply don't know how to use them right. *drops mic*

Listen bud Ive been playing hunter since day one and the supers are badass and they suck. Why? Because you've got a golden gun and Titans have one too... Except there's has 8 shots AOE damage and heals all their health on a kill. Did I mention the damage reduction? Yeah gunslingers don't get that. You know who does? Titans. And they so much that you can't kill them with a golden gun shot and by the time you've shot them you're dead. Either that or they suck. Bladedancers have a 50% damage reduction, but guess what? It doesn't matter because that Titan's hammer is still gonna penetrate your ass and leave you salty. Oh you and warlock have arcblade also. It's called storm caller and it's a ranged version that starts with a Titan smash on activation. Plus the damage chains. You see where I'm going with this? Shadow shot. You get to bind four people together for a little bit and take aways super. That's is if it activate in time for that to happen. You know cause they all got away and then the actual super happened, even through you shot it 5 seconds ago. Did you know that not even a shadows hot can save you from a GG hammer though? Yeah that's cause you get one shotted before the tether activates. You see my point now?

Edited by Donniebee2: 11/6/2015 5:49:32 AMYeah well, if I'm getting 22 kills, shutting down the other teams gameplan, and winning matches, I feel I've achieved my goals. I do see your point, however. There are some valid points there. But look at it from the warlocks perspective. If any super could be activated during another and over-rode it, then the Warlock would be screwed as he has no defense. It's a balance issue Oh, and my first alt, which my son Donniebee, now plays, was a hunter. I bought a 2nd PS4 and my hunter has always been number 1. I sacked at crucible until I decided to really try and my Hunter is still my favorite.

Yeah I sorta see your point - but my point is that if you're really getting killed this easily, you simply don't know how to use the supers correctly. Honestly, there's no point in using a regular three-shot GG because I know that people are going to take notice of me and snipe me before I can get off all three shots - so I use Celestial Nighthawk in order to get that handy-dandy (6x) damage boost that will kill somebody no matter what. Arc blade? I've killed a group of six other Guardians before - while a Striker's aftershock was hitting me. I killed every one of them and was only killed by the aftershock. Shadowshot... I have no defense for that crap. Activation time needs to be fixed. But seriously, if you can't dodge a hammer, then you must not be able to dodge a Walker's cannon. Cause they're just as easy to dodge. Hunters don't even need damage reduction, our supers are so effective against other players. Long as you know how to use them.
