Apologist here, I think? Problem is, they are past the age of giving a darn about the same things most of the base players who come to the forums to moan care about. They are looking at stats and profits. I, for one, didn't come to Destiny for the forums. I came for the game itself and stayed for the friends I play with (also I enjoy the game.) The forums are a good outlet for people, but at the end of they all they care about is business. If the percentage of people whining on the forums is too small to make an impact on profits, they won't do much of anything. Over the last year, since joining I have seen the forums turn into nothing but a never ending b!tchfest. Because everyone has an Internet voice, they want to offer their opinion. Everyone is a critic. -yelpers anyone? Haha And look, someone is going to come and make a reply to this post that tries to contradict or dismiss me, and that's cool. Just know that I won't actually be reading it.
