Honestly their probably tired of everyone complaining about everything. When its a work in progress. They are working on fixing things yet everyone is ungrateful and complains and says stuff like oh "6 hrs until destiny dies", or "who else cant wait for BO3 or fallout 4." Seriously they have millions of people playing destiny and who love it for what it is. It honestly wouldnt matter if they lost 100,000 players. Imo please leave everything will better and more peaceful without the whiners.
Edit: Just looking at most replies on here i can see most people understand where he (deej) is coming from. A good chunk of people are crybabies.

I'll agree that the "till destiny dies" posts need to go. But a work in progress? I know what it means and have heard the company line from them. But so much of what we're all mad about came from one thing...BAD DECISIONS and to a lesser degree player freedom. In their own mind things may have worked out perfectly but it's like they didn't even test things out or think about other things. Many are smart enough to know the difference between whining or trolling. But it's obvious that the player base is annoyed with yet another course change that should have been there from the start.

If you are then you need to find a different job. Don't sell a "work in progress", sell a final product. Delay releasing the product if it isn't finished. If "everyone" complains, that means everyone is unhappy and they're doing something(s) wrong.

This guy gets it. In no way do you tallk down to your customers. And a "work in progress"? This game has been out long enough that should not be a thing. This was announced as a 10 year project. However, it seems to have no direction and no real road map. That is why we end up with all of these stupid things they do, then they have to try and correct it.

Work in progress is actually the correct term for destiny because they always said they wanted to create an ever changing constant world and that by default will always make it a work in progress, and also I agree with the part of them getting tired of ppl complaining, but I also acknowledge that they have to understand that you can never make everyone happy. This community is filled with a bunch of whiners I have seen countless times complaint threads about this that are working for me 100%

I disagree, work in progress suggests that something is incomplete and will at one point reach its full potential. What you described is a dynamic and evolving world. Something that is complete but can still continue to change and grow with no foreseeable end.

That's the problem. It shouldn't be a work in progress it's a game that's been out for over 2 years they they keep -blam!-ing up by trying to make it into even more of a grind.

"Only" a year. First off, the game should have been released on a finished state, [i]that[/i] is sloppy developmental work. And second; Do you even hear yourself? Do youh want to know how long Bungie has had part of a team working on Destiny? It's been in the pipeline since 2007. It was hinted in 2009 with ODST. After Reach in 2010 and ceasing all control of Halo in 2012, they went full time to be devoted to making the game. Know how long that is? 7 whole years from start to release on September 2014. The amount of broken, disconnecting garbage and shitty community interaction has no right to be here. Just because the higher ups and Activision senpai told Staten he needed to scrap his story with 2 months left (seriously how do you not check in periodically) make there be any excuse for everything that is wrong with this game. And you know what else? Its time to sack Deej. Either give the job back to Urk or hand it on to Cozmo.

They don't have a million players playing everyday. 100,000 players who purchase a 40$ dlc is very -blam!-ing meaningful. 4,000,000 dollars could be made from 100,000 people. A game in progress? So you admit this game being a beta?

I didnt say it was a beta im admitting it needs some work still but its a great game. But im not sitting here crying about it i just accept it and know it will be fixed.
